Bareit's Guide to Where to Stay
You're coming all this way. You need a place to stay. I, personally have never stayed
in a hotel in Halifax because I live here but here is what I've been able to dig up with a bit
of research. Right now the exchange rate is about 45%, way in your favour. We have taxes
but if you spend over $200 on accommodations, there's a form you can fill out to get part
of that back (need receipts).Nova Scotia's Check In Reservation and Information Service This is a computerised reservation and information service. With one toll-free call
connects you to a Nova Scotian, who has instant access to all vacation details and prices
you need. I spoke with a very nice woman named Olivia who wanted to be even more
helpful than I needed.
