The flow of the river forms the backbone of this image, with the infrared camera contributing the pale ferns behind Ingrid. One of the big frustrations for me with an image like this is it really is meant to be large (40-80cm wide), and the Internet, as wonderful as it is in some senses, is quite possibly the worst place to get a sense of how the image looks.
