When Brianna and I came around the back of the abandoned house and saw the decrepit deck falling off, we looked at each other agreed it had to be worked with. The real trick was to get Brianna into the space as the wood was all rickety and unreliable. In the end, I lifted her up into the location and she carefully found the pose as I kept an eye out for nails, glass and other potentially harmful detritus. Then I moved back to the camera and made the 28 exposures that would end up being stitched into the final image. All this was done, of course, in constant drizzle which resulted in me being soaked through by the time I helped Brianna out of the pose. She, being nude could towel off and get dressed to warm, a pleasure I could not enjoy until we arrived home.
