After we finished working with the breaking surf, Ingrid and I moved a little back from the shoreline and spent some time working with the bedrock, exploring the cracks and fissures in the granite. Much of this time was spent with me feeling frustrated by the contrast light but, eventually, a couple of clouds provided short periods of more even light, which saw me quickly repeating images I’d made moments earlier, this time with my preferred lighting.
