While an old decaying piling was the focus of the pose,making it easier for Jesse to pose in the middle of a flat plain of grass, it was the infrared response to both the green grass and the dull overcast sky that pulls this image together. By giving it a high-key approach with a predominance of light tones and very few darks, the infrared image becomes very stylized with a consistent look throughout the entire image.
