The particular quality of this image comes from the soft natural light, coming from the side through a large window, and the fact it is recorded in infra-red, using a converted Digital SLR camera. Late in 2004 I began experimenting with this approach, and by the summer of 2005, I expect to be consistently working with this too, exploring the wonders of invisible light.
