Occasionally I make an image where the colour just works. I can’t pretend that this image was made thinking of colour, but without a doubt, the soft warm tones of Claudia’s skin and hair contrast well with the cool blue of the rocks behind her. One of the unexpected advantages of changing to digital cameras for small-camera work is that every image is captured in colour, so the option to see it that way is always there.
