All through the studio session, the rich texture of Miranda‘s hair drew my eye, but it proved difficult to work with, because of all the other richness present to photograph. Towards the end of the session, Miranda was seated on a chair, and I suggested that Monique stand behind her. The image wasn’t too inspired, until Miranda turned around and faced Monique, when the possibilities began to be revealed.
