Almost as soon as we started working, I knew I wanted to photograph Natasha in a ball on the futon, with the wall above her - the open space seemed to call out for such a composition, and the light form the window was directional enough to describe form, yet soft enough to keep the image from having too hard a shadow on the left side of the figure.
