This was the final image I made of Kylie during our first sessions together; because we didn’t have a couch to work on, she had to pose on the floor, so as opposed to my standard approach of working with reclining nudes, I hoped for a sitting pose. The image of the window in the background, from the sunlight falling onto the white sheet, added a beautiful extra level of complexity to an already pleasing image.
