This image was supposed to be a lens test, but very quickly turned into a successful image in its own right. I had hoped to make an image of Miranda in the grasses, but they proved to be a little too wet for comfort, so she shifted to the rock. The long lens (equal to a 80mm lens on a 35mm camera) provided the compression of space I sought, while the smaller aperture (f/64) kept the background from looking too soft.
