I feel this is one of the best images I’ve made all year - the haunting quality of the setting, along with the almost resigned quality of the nude makes for an image that catches my eye every time. Miles worked hard to keep the pose still during the four second exposure, and succeeded marvelously. This image indirectly comes from an earlier image River God I.
This image was featured in the 2008 exhibition “Memory of Water”.
