The series of images this photo is drawn from were made after an outdoor session in early spring. We’d retreated indoors to permit Lisa to warm up, and in the process, I resumed taking photos of her. The soft light coming through the windows behind her, combined with the white comforter she was lying upon provided a wonderfully high-key setting, which complimented the softness of the portrait.
