This view of Fort Taber’s land-side gives one an impression of just how massive the fort looks; unlike many of the other site I’ve photographed, Taber has no land-based defences, and looks, for lack of a better description, like the architects plopped it down where they wanted it. It seems almost stuck “on” the landscape.
