While it would be easy to see this image as a fore-runner of my water pool series, it is actually not related at all, instead, it is the out-take from a studio session I assisted with during my time at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design; the model was a fellow student exploring images of Orphelia…it was only when she had achieved the images she sought to make that I asked if I could create some for myself.
