Cassandra and I had scouted out this location the first day we arrived in Feltzen, and both commented on the rock shelf in this image, indicating it would be a good place for a pose. It was several days before we’d come back again to the location to photograph, but it was the focus of a good half-hour of exploration, ending in this image, only of only 18 I ever made with a 12"x20” camera.
