I’ve worked with Victoria since 1998, and this image is one of my favourite of her, just because of how striking it is. It was one of the last images that Victoria and I made during this session; she’d already wrapped a towel around herself, to try to keep off the worst of the weather; the session was a short one, limited by Victoria’s ability to tolerate the rain that went from a sprinkle at the beginning of the session to a full-fledged downpour at the end.
