I have always had a strong attraction to symmetry; with this image, as soon as Carol placed the skull over her hips, I saw the similarity between the lines of the skull and her thighs. Careful arranging of the hands kept them from interrupting the flow of the skull, while a narrow depth of field kept the hips soft in the background.
