Ingrid‘s most prized possession is her horse skull. What I prize in this image is its flow and how the angle of the image and the rich detail in both Ingrid’s skin and the raw surface of the bone contrast and emphasize each other. The nude almost seems to be an afterthought, a landscape against which to place the skull.
