The smaller the space, the wider the lens that is needed to show its expanse. In the case of the spiral stairs of Knox, until I approached them with the 14mm lens, I really only hinted at their beauty. With the 14mm lens, however, the sweeping lines and smooth arcs of the stairs are fully revealed.
