This was the last image made during this session - by this time a sunny afternoon had turned into a foggy, chilly evening, and the session was wrapping up. Both Jessica and I had seen this scene though, with the small rock mirroring the shape of the large one behind, and she was willing to wade out to the small rock, to create a final image. Follow the line of the rock above you, I suggested, and with a bit of refinement, everything came together into the strongest image of the session!
Month’s later, once I had my 17mm T/S lens, I was able to make a very different image in the same space!
