While I have worked a lot with water since 1996, one element that has often been overlooked is the power of the ocean - usually when working with it, I tend to pick calm inlets or tidal pools, but in this case, Ingrid was willing to brave posing on a rock over which the ocean broke. It was hard for her to keep still enough during the long exposures, but we did manage to achieve a couple of successes.
