Victoria and I experimented with some sunset dance images while in Alberta, using a studio flash borrowed form another photographer. The idea was to combine the short exposure of the flash with a long exposure for the ambient light behind Victoria. The results were mixed, with development problems compounding the issue. I’d though I would continue to pursue this approach, but a decade later, this still remains the only time I have tried this approach.
